Description

The Reptilia ROF-SAR is a scope ring mount designed for shooters who run a primary magnified optic and need a micro red dot positioned where it can be picked up instantly without breaking a firing position. The core idea is offset co-witnessing: by housing a Trijicon RMR or SRO at an angle within the 34mm ring, the shooter can rotate the rifle slightly and acquire the red dot without lifting the head off the stock or removing the eye from the general sight line. That geometry matters in any situation where fast transitions between close and distant targets are necessary, whether on a competition stage or in a practical field context.

The mount is machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum, which gives it the rigidity to hold a zero under recoil without adding bulk that would defeat the purpose of keeping the rig lightweight. The MIL-STD Type III hardcoat anodized finish in black resists abrasion and handles the handling wear that comes from a mount that gets used rather than displayed. The angle of the micro optic within the ring is user-configurable, so the mount can be dialed to match a shooter’s natural head position and neck anatomy rather than forcing a compromise. Extended Torx drivers are included in the box, which matters because the fasteners are recessed and a standard driver often lacks the reach to torque them properly without improvising.
