Description

The Velos LBP is SilencerCo’s answer to a specific problem that AR-15 shooters running suppressors know well: gas blowback. Standard suppressor designs tend to push combustion gases rearward through the bolt carrier group, fouling the action faster, stinging the shooter’s eyes, and accelerating wear on the host firearm. The Velos LBP addresses this with a low back-pressure internal architecture that redirects gas forward rather than letting it cycle back through the receiver, which translates directly to a cleaner, more comfortable shooting session and reduced bolt velocity under suppressed fire.

The core is 3D-printed Inconel 625, a nickel-chromium alloy chosen for its ability to withstand sustained high heat and pressure rather than for weight savings. That core is fully welded to front and rear modules machined from 17-4 stainless steel, so there are no press-fit joints to work loose under full-auto fire. The Hoplon blast baffle adds another layer of protection by deflecting debris away from the internal core during hard use, which is a meaningful design consideration for short-barreled hosts or any application where the suppressor sees sustained fire at close intervals.

The can ships as a complete, ready-to-run package through SilencerCo’s Charlie interface: an ASR mount, an ASR flash hider, an internal flash-hider front cap, a spanner wrench, and a Charlie tool are all included. The internal front cap serves double duty by reducing muzzle flash signature in low-light conditions alongside the suppression itself. There are no barrel-length restrictions, and the suppressor is rated for full-auto use. The finish is Black V-Series Cerakote.
