The XMacro Komodo Anime is built for shooters who want a compact, carry-oriented 9mm that doesn’t sacrifice capacity or control at the range. It starts with the Komodo aluminum grip module — a full-size grip profile on a short-barreled platform — which means the 17-round double-stack magazine sits in a frame that fills the hand without adding bulk to the holster footprint. That combination suits concealed carriers who also run competition or training drills and don’t want to swap guns between the two roles.

The compensated barrel addresses the central trade-off of short-barreled pistols: the less slide mass and shorter sight radius, the more muzzle flip works against fast follow-up shots. The Zaffiri threadless compensated barrel redirects propellant gas upward at the moment of firing, reducing muzzle rise mechanically rather than asking the shooter to compensate through grip alone. The result is a platform where rapid reacquisition is more consistent, not just possible with technique.

The slide is custom-cut for optic mounting, so a red dot can be fitted without an adapter plate; the factory night sights remain functional alongside any optic as a co-witness backup. The hand-drawn anime finish is applied in Blue Cerakote over black, using a cell-shaded cartoon treatment that is specific to the Komodo Anime series rather than a standard factory color.
