That action uses a three-lug bolt with a 60-degree throw, so cycling under pressure is faster and requires less wrist rotation than a conventional two-lug design — useful when a follow-up shot matters.

The Quick-Change Barrel Collar system is Seekins’ patent-pending answer to field reconfigurability: the barrel can be swapped without a full gunsmithing operation, which makes the platform practical across multiple chamberings over its service life. The barrel itself is 416R stainless steel with a carbon fiber wrap — the wrap reduces the thermal mass and total weight of the barrel while the stainless core holds up to weather and cleaning chemicals without special treatment. A 1-in-10 twist rate in .300 Win Mag is well-suited to the heavier, high-BC projectiles — think 200- to 220-grain bullets — that most hunters choose when they want flat trajectory and retained energy at distance. Shooters running lighter 150- or 165-grain loads will still stabilize just fine; the twist simply rewards the heavier end of the cartridge’s range.
