Description
The Havak Element M3 in Woodland is built for hunters and backcountry shooters who want a full-power bolt gun they can actually carry all day. Seekins designed it around a Woodland Shadow carbon fiber stock, which keeps weight down without sacrificing the rigidity that long-range .308 shooting demands — carbon fiber resists the flex that can shift point of impact as a stock heats or absorbs moisture in the field.
The chassis is Seekins’ own Mini Chassis design with integrated full-length M-LOK, so there is real estate for bipods, lights, or other accessories without adding a separate handguard. An integrated 20 MOA rail with a built-in level comes machined into the top — the forward slope pre-loads elevation travel, which matters when you’re pushing .308 to distance and need room to dial. The Armorer Black Anodize finish is a functional choice: hard anodize resists corrosion and surface wear without adding the gloss that catches light in the field.
The 1-in-11.25-inch twist is calibrated for the heavier .308 projectiles — think 168- to 175-grain match or hunting bullets — rather than the lighter loads a faster twist would favor. Shooters who plan to run 150-grain or lighter factory ammunition will still get acceptable performance, but this barrel was clearly set up with heavier, higher-BC bullets in mind. The 5/8×24 threaded muzzle is the standard .30-caliber pitch, leaving options open for a muzzle device of your choice. The included 3-round carbon fiber magazine keeps the profile trim in a pack or a saddle scabbard.
