The MODX-45 is built for shooters who run .45 ACP handguns or pistol-caliber carbines and want a single suppressor that can be reconfigured rather than replaced when priorities change. Its modular baffle stack lets you pull baffles out or add them back in, so you can trade some suppression for a shorter, more front-balanced setup on a duty-size pistol, or run the full stack when you’re at the bench and sound reduction is the only concern. That kind of adjustment matters more in .45 ACP than in most calibers because the cartridge is widely subsonic in standard loadings — you’re not fighting supersonic crack, so the baffle count genuinely drives the outcome rather than being masked by other noise.

The suppressor body combines titanium and stainless steel by design rather than convenience. Titanium keeps reciprocating mass low, which is relevant on tilting-barrel pistols where the suppressor cycles with the slide. Stainless steel handles the high-wear contact areas and supports long-term durability at the round counts a suppressor will see. The two materials also share good corrosion resistance, which matters when the can sees dirty pistol ammunition over time.

The thread pattern — .578×28 on one piston, M16x1 LH on the other — reflects the two most common threaded .45 barrel standards, and both pistons ship with the suppressor. The included fixed barrel spacer extends that same can to fixed-barrel hosts like PCCs, where a booster assembly would work against reliable function rather than supporting it. One suppressor covering both platform types is a practical advantage if you run both.
