Description
The Sig Sauer Alpha MSR Cantilever Mount is built for modern sporting rifles where a fixed, repeatable scope position matters as much as the optic itself. The cantilever design positions the scope forward of the receiver, which on most MSR-pattern rifles brings the eyepiece into a natural cheekweld position without requiring the shooter to adjust their head forward — a practical advantage when running a standard collapsible stock at a mid or extended setting.
The 34mm tube diameter accommodates the larger main tubes found on today’s higher-magnification tactical and precision rifle scopes, giving those optics a secure purchase without the improvised feel of adapters or shimmed rings. Zero MOA cant means the mount introduces no mechanical elevation offset of its own, leaving any elevation dialing entirely to the scope’s internal adjustments — the correct choice for shooters who want to track precisely across a wide range of distances without running out of travel or building in assumptions about engagement distance.
Construction is steel alloy with a black powder coat finish, which keeps the overall assembly rigid under recoil and resistant to the field handling that a working rifle mount will inevitably see. A one-piece design eliminates the alignment variables that come with separate rings: the rings are machined as a unit, so tube axis alignment is set at the factory rather than left to the shooter to finesse at installation. The mount attaches to a standard Picatinny rail, making it compatible with the broad majority of MSR-pattern receivers without modification.
