Description

The P211-GTO RXSL is SIG Sauer’s answer to the double-stack 1911 concept built for shooters who want a factory-complete, optic-equipped platform without sourcing and fitting individual components themselves. It draws on the 2011 format — a steel-framed, double-stack pistol with 1911 ergonomics — while using P320-compatible steel magazines rather than the proprietary feeding systems that typically come with legacy double-stack 1911 builds. That compatibility simplifies sourcing spares and expands your options at the range without modifying the pistol.

The 4.4-inch bull barrel is paired with SIG’s MACH3D compensator, which vents propellant gas upward to counteract muzzle rise during rapid fire. The practical effect is a flatter shooting pistol between shots, which matters more in timed strings than casual target work. The trigger is a flat, skeletonized single-action-only design — there is no take-up from a double-action first pull, so every shot breaks from the same position, which keeps point of impact consistent across a full magazine.

The SIG-LOC PRO slide comes from the factory with a ROMEO-X red dot already installed, so the optic is zeroed and fitted without aftermarket milling. Backup night sights are included, giving you a usable iron-sight picture if the optic is ever obstructed or loses power. The ambidextrous thumb safety and grip safety together give this pistol a manual safety arrangement familiar to 1911 shooters, and the full-length dust cover with integrated 1913 Picatinny rail leaves room for a weapon light without adapters. Three 10-round magazines ship with the pistol.
