Description
The P211-GTO EQUINOX is Sig Sauer’s Custom Works answer to a competition-ready pistol that doesn’t sacrifice aesthetics for function. It’s built for the shooter who runs serious round counts and wants a platform that keeps pace—whether at a match or on a demanding range session.
The MACH3D compensator works in tandem with the bull barrel to redirect propellant gases upward at the muzzle, counteracting the rotational force that drives muzzle rise during recoil. The practical effect is a flatter shooting cycle and faster return to target, which matters most in timed strings of fire. The bull barrel itself contributes additional mass at the front of the slide, further dampening felt recoil impulse compared to a standard-profile barrel.
The SIG-LOC PRO optics interface uses a larger, more mechanically positive mounting footprint than a standard dovetail or direct-mill cut, which means a mounted optic returns to zero reliably after removal and holds position under sustained firing. The fiber optic front sight remains fully usable when shooting iron-only, pairing with a fixed black rear for a sharp sight picture under most lighting conditions.
The stainless steel frame and EQUINOX-finished slide carry Sig’s signature two-tone treatment—polished slide surfaces and E-Nickel controls against the frame—which is a visual identity as much as a finish specification. LOK GridLOK grip panels in custom alloy provide a consistent purchase without the bulk of rubberized alternatives. The flat skeletonized single-action trigger is designed for a clean, repeatable break suited to accuracy-focused shooting. Three steel magazines ship with the pistol, and all are compatible with the P320 magazine ecosystem, broadening your options for additional capacity down the line.
