The P226-XCarry Legion is built for shooters who want a full-size grip and magazine capacity in a more compact package. By pairing the P226’s grip frame with a shorter barrel, Sig created a carry-oriented pistol that still accepts flush-fitting 18-round MecGar magazines — three of which ship with the gun — without sacrificing the hand purchase that makes the full-size P226 comfortable to shoot under speed.

The DA/SA action is worth understanding before you buy. The first shot fires with a longer, heavier double-action pull, which adds a deliberate step between draw and discharge — a trade-off some shooters actively prefer for a carry gun. Subsequent shots fire single-action, with a shorter pull and a defined wall, audible reset, and crisp break. The trigger is also adjustable, so both stages can be tuned to suit your preference without replacing components.
