Description
The P320 XCompact is built for shooters who want a carry-capable pistol that doesn’t require compromising on shootability. The grip module’s high undercut trigger guard and extended beavertail allow a higher, more consistent hand position than a standard compact frame, which keeps the bore axis lower in the hand and makes follow-up shots more manageable. That geometry matters more in a compact than in a full-size, where the longer sight radius already helps settle the muzzle between shots.
The slide is optic-ready, machined to accept a direct-mount reflex sight without an adapter plate raising the optic above the bore line. The included optic plate cover keeps the cut protected when running iron sights. Speaking of irons, the XRAY3 day/night sights use a tritium front insert surrounded by a bright phosphorescent ring, so the front sight is fast to acquire in both full light and low light without requiring a light source. That front-sight prominence is deliberately high to co-witness with common compact reflex footprints.
The striker-fired action requires no manual decock and maintains a consistent trigger pull from the first shot through the last round in either of the two included 10-round steel magazines. The 3.6-inch carbon steel barrel, finished in Black Nitron, gives up minimal velocity relative to a full-size while keeping the overall package short enough for serious daily carry. The Picatinny accessory rail forward of the trigger guard accommodates lights and lasers without modification.
