Description
The P322 is Sig Sauer’s answer to a common problem: most rimfire pistols either sacrifice capacity for compactness or bulk up to hold more rounds. By designing the P322 from scratch at their New Hampshire facility rather than adapting an existing centerfire platform, Sig was able to fit twenty rounds in a magazine that still fits a standard pistol grip, giving you a 20+1 capacity that makes extended range sessions considerably less interrupted by reloads.
The action is single action, which keeps the trigger pull consistent and short — useful for the kind of deliberate, high-repetition practice that .22 LR is typically chosen for. Two interchangeable trigger shoes ship with the pistol, one flat and one curved, so you can match the geometry to how you naturally stage a shot without buying aftermarket parts. Controls are ambidextrous, and the magazine catch is reversible, so left-handed shooters get a fully functional platform without compromise.
The fiber optic front and rear sights give you a fast, bright sight picture in varying light conditions — the kind of setup that works for both casual target shooting and more deliberate accuracy work. For shooters who want to mount a red dot, the slide accepts a Sig ROMEO Zero directly via a removable rear sight plate, with no adapter plate required. The pistol also ships with a threaded barrel adapter, making it compatible with suppressors without any modification to the barrel itself.
Two 20-round magazines are included, along with a magazine loader — a practical inclusion given the capacity. The P322 is a genuinely capable rimfire pistol for anyone doing volume practice, training new shooters, or building a .22 collection around a consistent manual of arms.
