The P365-XF DH3 is built for shooters who want a compact, optic-ready 9mm that doesn’t ask them to choose between concealability and a useful sight radius. The XF frame — Sig’s full-size grip on a compact slide — gives you more hand on the gun than a standard P365 without adding meaningful bulk to the overall footprint, which matters when the pistol is being carried for extended periods.

The compensated barrel is the defining mechanical trade-off here. Porting redirects propellant gas upward at the moment the bullet exits, counteracting muzzle rise before it develops. The practical result is faster return to target between shots compared to an uncompensated barrel of the same length, at the cost of increased blast directed toward the shooter in confined spaces — a real consideration for indoor range work or home-defense scenarios. The 3.7-inch barrel runs a Black DLC finish, which is a physical vapor deposition coating that reduces surface friction and resists corrosion without adding dimensional thickness to the bore.

The SIG-LOC optic footprint on the slide is a compact mounting standard that accepts a range of micro red dots without requiring adapter plates, keeping the optic sitting lower over the bore. The pistol ships with Sig’s X-RAY 3 day/night sights installed, so the pistol is immediately usable with iron sights while you decide on an optic. Three 10-round magazines are included, and the absence of a manual safety keeps the draw-to-fire sequence consistent — a deliberate design choice for a carry pistol where fumbling a safety under stress is a documented failure point.
