Description
The P365 XMacro COMP is built for shooters who want a compact 9mm that carries easily but shoots like a larger gun. It fits the role of a daily carry pistol that doesn’t demand a trade-off between size and shootability, and it suits someone who has already worked through the basics and wants a platform dialed in from the factory rather than assembled from aftermarket parts.
The integrated compensator is the defining design choice here. Rather than threading a separate device onto the muzzle, Sig Sauer machines the compensator directly into the slide, which keeps the overall package compact and eliminates the possibility of a loose muzzle device shifting under use. The compensator ports propellant gases upward to counteract muzzle rise, letting the shooter reacquire a sight picture faster between shots without adding bulk beyond what a standard slide would occupy.
The stainless steel frame contributes to felt recoil management as well — not through mass alone, but because a steel chassis distributes impulse differently than polymer, which matters over a long range session. The slide is also stainless steel with a Black Nitron finish, which is Sig’s designation for a corrosion-resistant surface treatment that handles everyday carry conditions without requiring constant attention.
Night sights come standard, so low-light use doesn’t require an aftermarket upgrade. The slide is also optic-ready, giving the shooter the option to add a red dot without replacing the slide or buying a separate mounting plate. A manual safety is included for those whose carry protocol or training requires one. Two 10-round steel magazines ship with the pistol.
