The SilencerCo Alpha Direct Thread Mount gives you a straightforward, no-adapter way to run a suppressor on a fixed rifle barrel. Where a quick-detach mounting system like the ASR adds length between the muzzle and the front of the can, threading directly to the barrel closes that gap — meaning the same suppressor sits shorter overall on the host rifle. That reduction in total package length matters in confined spaces and keeps the balance point closer to the receiver.

The 9/16×24 thread pattern is the standard pitch for 9mm rifle barrels, so this mount is aimed at hosts like 9mm-chambered carbines and pistol-caliber platforms with fixed barrels. SilencerCo designed the Alpha Direct Thread Mount to work across several of their silencer lines, giving the same mount utility across multiple cans if your collection grows. One point worth understanding before you buy: direct thread mounts require a barrel that does not move during the firing cycle. On a pistol with a tilting or rotating barrel — the overwhelming majority of semi-automatic pistols — the barrel unlocks and moves as part of the cycling action. A direct thread mount cannot track that movement, which creates the potential for baffle strikes and suppressor damage. This mount is built for fixed barrels only, which in practical terms means rifle-format hosts.
