Description
Running a suppressor on a compact pistol starts with one non-negotiable requirement: a threaded barrel. SilencerCo’s drop-in barrel for the Sig Sauer P365 XL is built specifically for that purpose, giving P365 XL owners a direct path to mounting a suppressor without fitting or modification work.
The barrel is machined from 416R stainless steel, a grade selected for its combination of corrosion resistance and machinability, which allows for consistent chamber and bore dimensions across production runs. The exterior receives a black nitride finish, which hardens the surface and reduces friction without adding meaningful thickness — important in a barrel that needs to seat and cycle correctly inside a compact slide. Nitride also holds up well to the heat and fouling cycles that come with extended suppressed shooting, where back-pressure and wet conditions are more pronounced than in unsuppressed use.
The muzzle is threaded at 1/2×28, the standard pitch for 9mm suppressors, so this barrel is compatible with the broad range of cans currently on the market. A thread protector is included to cover the muzzle when shooting unsuppressed, protecting the threads from damage and keeping the barrel’s profile clean. When you’re ready to mount a suppressor, note that a piston matched to your specific can’s mount system will also be required — the barrel alone is the first piece, not the complete solution.
This is a straightforward, purpose-built component for a shooter who already has a suppressor or is building toward one and wants a P365 XL-specific barrel from the same manufacturer that makes the cans themselves.
