Description
The SilencerCo Charlie Direct Thread Mount is a straightforward, low-profile way to attach a compatible SilencerCo suppressor directly to a threaded barrel. Where a quick-detach mounting system adds length between the muzzle and the suppressor’s body, a direct thread mount closes that gap entirely, trimming the overall suppressor package as short as it can go. That difference matters on a compact host where every inch counts, or any time a shooter wants to keep the suppressed configuration as short and balanced as possible.
The mount is machined from stainless steel and finished in an oxide black coating that SilencerCo designates Stainless Steel Oxide Black. The trade-off for the reduced length and mechanical simplicity is that removal and reinstallation take more time than a latch-based system, but for shooters who leave the suppressor mounted more often than not, that is rarely a practical concern. The direct thread interface also means there are no locking lugs or springs to maintain, which simplifies the cleaning routine.
The 3/4″x24 thread pattern is a common specification on .45 ACP pistol barrels and some large-bore rifle barrels, so the Charlie in this configuration works across a range of hosts that share that pitch. If the thread pitch on your host barrel matches, the mount installs with no adapters and no additional hardware. It is a purpose-built piece rather than a universal solution, and SilencerCo’s part number AC4742 identifies it specifically for that thread specification.
