SL 6354RDSO FITS GLK 17 RD LT MC RH

Description

The Safariland 6354RDSO is a duty-grade tactical holster built specifically for shooters running a red dot optic on their Glock 17 MOS paired with a weapon-mounted light in the X300 size class. Where Safariland’s standard RDS holsters use a flip-up dust cover to protect the optic, the RDSO uses an open-top pocket design instead — the optic sits exposed but protected by the holster’s structure, which removes one mechanical step from the draw stroke and eliminates the possibility of the cover interfering with a fast presentation.

Retention is handled by Safariland’s Automatic Locking System. ALS engages automatically the moment the pistol is holstered, securing it without any manual step from the shooter. Release requires a deliberate thumb motion on the way to the draw, which means the firearm stays put under physical stress or a retention attempt without the weight or complexity of a secondary locking hood.

The exterior is finished in MultiCam Cordura, a laminate construction that keeps weight down while giving the holster some resistance to abrasion and weather. The holster ships with a QLS 19 Locking Fork pre-installed, which allows it to attach to any mounting platform fitted with a QLS 22 Receiver Plate — belt loops, drop-leg shrouds, and plate carriers can all accept the same holster body without tools, making it straightforward to move the setup between different carry configurations. This variant is cut for right-hand draw.

Compatible weapon-mounted lights include the Streamlight TLR-1, TLR-1HL, SureFire X300, X300U, and several Nightstick TWM-series units. Optic compatibility is not guaranteed for non-factory red dot mounting solutions.
