Description
The SureFire V70 is a dedicated holster for carrying a SureFire flashlight on the belt, built for anyone who needs reliable, fast access to a weapon light without fumbling. It is made from rigid polymer, which serves a specific purpose: the material holds its shape under compression, so the mouth of the holster stays open after a draw and accepts the light cleanly on re-holster without requiring you to look at it or guide it in by feel.
The draw stroke is designed to work from either a head-up or head-down orientation, meaning you can retrieve the light whether you are standing upright or bent forward under a vehicle or through a doorway. That ambidextrous geometry also means it mounts on either side without modification. The belt slot is molded directly into the body of the holster rather than added as a separate attachment, and an adjustable spacer lets it fit belts of varying widths up to 2.25 inches. Flashlights with bezel diameters larger than 1.25 inches will only seat tailcap-down in the V70, so check your light’s bezel measurement before mounting head-up. The holster is compatible with a wide range of SureFire 6P-series and similar diameter lights including the G2, G2X, G3, C2, C3, Z2, and several others in that family.
There are no moving retention parts, no thumb breaks, and no adjustable tension screws. Retention is passive and comes entirely from the fit between the polymer shell and the light body, which keeps the design fast to deploy and simple to maintain.
