SL 6354RDSO FITS GLK 19 RD LT MC RH

Description

The Safariland 6354RDSO is built for duty and tactical use where a pistol-mounted red dot sight is part of the setup. The RDSO designation separates this holster from Safariland’s standard RDS line in one meaningful way: instead of a flip-up dust cover, it uses an open pocket design that accommodates the optic body without adding the mechanical step of clearing a cover before the draw. The tradeoff is a more exposed optic housing, which is why this holster suits shooters who prioritize draw speed and compatibility over maximum environmental sealing.

Retention is handled by Safariland’s Automatic Locking System. The pistol locks automatically on holstering, and release requires a deliberate press of a thumb-actuated locking tab followed by a straight upward draw. This provides Level I retention without adding a secondary device to manipulate, which keeps the draw stroke simple and consistent under stress.

The holster ships with the QLS 19 Locking Fork already installed. That fork interfaces with any platform using a QLS 22 Receiver Plate, so the same holster body can move between belt loops, leg shrouds, or other compatible mounts without tools. This variant fits the Glock 19 MOS with a SureFire X300U weapon light and is cut for right-hand draw. The shell is thermally molded for a precise fit, and a suede interior lining protects the firearm’s finish during repeated holstering. The MultiCam exterior is Safariland’s own pattern application, not a painted or dyed finish.

Safariland notes that fit with non-factory red dot mounting solutions cannot be guaranteed, as variations in optic placement on the slide affect whether the holster pocket clears properly.
