SL 6378 ALS FOR GLK 17 W/LGHT STB RH

Description

The Safariland Model 6378 ALS Paddle Holster is built for plainclothes carry and off-duty use, giving officers and armed professionals a low-profile outside-the-waistband option that doesn’t sacrifice the retention security of a duty rig. It fits the Glock 17 equipped with a weapon-mounted light, making it a practical choice for those who run a light on their pistol and don’t want to compromise that setup when they step out of uniform.

The core of this holster is the Automatic Locking System — ALS — which automatically engages a lock over the firearm as it seats fully in the holster. Drawing is a single, straight upward motion once the release is swiped with the thumb during the draw stroke. There is no secondary hood to clear and no extra manipulation required under stress, which keeps the draw consistent with practice. Retention is passive until you decide to disengage it, so the gun stays put during physical activity without requiring the shooter to think about it.

The STX Tactical finish gives the exterior a textured, matte black surface that resists glare and handles regular use without obvious wear. The paddle attachment lets the holster mount directly to a belt without additional hardware, keeping the package compact and allowing the holster to come off without removing the belt entirely — a practical consideration for anyone transitioning between carry contexts throughout a shift or day. Right-hand orientation. Backed by Safariland’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.
