Description
The Safariland Model 7371 is built for concealed outside-the-waistband carry of the SIG Sauer P365 XL — a purpose that shapes every design decision in the holster. The central mechanism is the Automatic Locking System, or ALS, which engages the moment the pistol is fully seated. There is no manual step to lock in; the retention happens automatically. To draw, a swipe of the thumb across the release — a motion that flows naturally from acquiring your shooting grip — disengages retention immediately, so the draw stroke itself is not interrupted or slowed by a separate manipulation.
The holster body is molded from SafariSeven, Safariland’s proprietary non-marking nylon blend. The material is formulated to resist heat and cold without warping or becoming brittle, and it will not abrade or scratch the finish of your firearm the way harder materials can over time. The interior uses raised stand-offs rather than a smooth bore, which creates channels for dirt and moisture to escape rather than accumulate against the slide.
The included 571BL micro paddle is sized specifically for sub-compact pistols, keeping the holster footprint small and the ride height close to the body — both of which matter when concealment under a cover garment is the goal. The paddle accepts belts from 1.5 to 1.75 inches wide, covering most common carry belt widths. This configuration is right-hand only and finished in black, fitting the P365 XL specifically rather than relying on a broad fit range that trades retention precision for compatibility.
