Description
The Safariland 7371 7TS is built for concealed or discreet outside-the-waistband carry of single-stack sub-compact pistols, specifically the Glock 43, 43X, 43X MOS, and Springfield Armory Hellcat. It suits shooters who want active retention without the bulk or complexity of a duty-size holster system.
The core of the design is Safariland’s Automatic Locking System. When the pistol is seated, the ALS locks it in place without any manual step — the gun is secured the moment it clears the holster mouth. Releasing the lock is done with a thumb swipe as the hand acquires a shooting grip, so the motion integrates naturally into the draw rather than interrupting it. There is no secondary hood to sweep or button to press; the retention and the draw are a single continuous action.
The body is molded from SafariSeven, Safariland’s proprietary non-marking nylon blend. The material is chosen for dimensional stability across temperature extremes — it will not soften in summer heat or become brittle in cold — and it will not abrade or discolor firearm finishes. Raised interior stand-offs separate the slide from the holster wall, letting dirt and moisture clear rather than accumulate against the gun.
Attachment is handled by the 571BL injection-molded micro paddle, a compact platform sized specifically for sub-compact pistols. Its reduced footprint keeps the rig close to the body, which matters for concealment under a cover garment. The paddle fits belts from 1.5 to 1.75 inches wide and can be put on or removed without a tool. This is a right-hand model in Plain Black.
