SL CHEST RIG BLK

Description

The Safariland Chest Rig (SCR) is a holster mounting platform designed for operators who need their sidearm off the belt — useful when a duty belt is obscured by body armor, a pack’s hipbelt, or a harness system that makes a traditional hip draw impractical or impossible. Rather than replacing a holster, it replaces the belt attachment hardware on compatible Safariland 6TS and 7TS holsters, relocating the entire system to the chest.

Compatibility requires the three-hole mounting pattern, which also supports Safariland accessories such as the Quick Locking System — so an existing QLS setup transfers directly without additional adapters. The mounting platform itself is injection-molded from TPE, a material that combines structural rigidity with enough flex to conform comfortably against the chest under load, avoiding the hard pressure points that rigid polymer can create during extended wear.

Three 1.5-inch nylon straps distribute the load across the torso and keep the platform stable during movement. Securement uses a quick-attachment buckle designed for one-handed operation, which matters when donning or doffing under time pressure or with one hand occupied. Cant adjustment is retained through the platform, so the draw angle can be dialed in to suit the wearer’s build and preferred grip presentation. The SCR ships in Black.
