Description
The Safariland INCOG-X is a purpose-built inside-the-waistband holster designed for shooters who carry concealed with a Sig Sauer P320 equipped with a weapon light. It was developed in collaboration with Haley Strategic, and the design reflects that input: the priority is a holster that disappears under a cover garment without sacrificing the draw stroke or the ability to run a light and an optic simultaneously.
The shell is formed from Boltaron, a thermoplastic that holds its shape under heat and pressure well enough to provide consistent passive retention without requiring a secondary locking mechanism. That matters for IWB carry because a holster that softens and collapses can compromise both retention and re-holstering. The suede exterior adds friction against the body, which helps keep the holster from riding up or shifting during movement — a common problem with slick-sided kydex worn against the skin.
Optic compatibility is built into the design rather than bolted on. The INCOG-X clears red dot sights mounted behind the ejection port, including those fitted using the pistol manufacturer’s adapter plates. Safariland tested the fit with a range of red dot sizes, including the Trijicon SRO, which is among the larger footprints commonly encountered on carry guns. The integrated magazine caddy keeps a spare round within the same footprint as the holster, and adjustable clip positioning lets the shooter dial in ride height to suit their body and carry position. The result is a holster for someone who has already thought through their gear selection and wants components that work together without compromise.
