Description

The Safariland Species is an inside-the-waistband holster built for shooters who carry the Springfield Hellcat Pro and want a setup that disappears under a cover garment without sacrificing a clean draw. The shell is constructed from Boltaron, a thermoplastic that holds its molded shape under repeated use and in varying temperatures, so the holster mouth stays open for a consistent one-handed re-holster. The interior is suede-lined, which keeps the finish of the pistol from wearing against hard material during long carry days.

The retention is adjustable through a tension device, letting the carrier dial in the amount of resistance on the draw to match their preference or conditions — tighter for active carry, lighter for a competition or range context. The exterior is finished in Multicam Black Cordura, a patterned fabric that reads as a low-visibility dark tone in most environments while offering the abrasion resistance of woven nylon over the hard shell. The holster is cut for standard 1.5-inch belts, which keeps it compatible with most purpose-built carry belts without requiring a proprietary attachment system. This is a right-hand configuration.
