Description

Sons of Liberty Gun Works built the Enhanced Blaster Guts kit for builders who want a complete AR-15 lower assembly without sourcing individual components from a half-dozen vendors. Everything needed to finish a stripped lower is here, and the parts selection reflects deliberate choices rather than cost-cutting.

The fire control group is SOLGW’s Liberty Fighting Trigger, which targets the specific problem of mil-spec trigger groups: the gritty, unpredictable wall that makes accurate fire harder than it needs to be. The hammer and trigger are treated with Nickel PTFE, a coating that reduces friction between mating surfaces and resists corrosion without requiring heavy lubrication to maintain smooth function. Pull weight is set at approximately 6 pounds — light enough to be usable, heavy enough to remain safe under field conditions without modification. The design preserves standard mil-spec geometry, so no gunsmithing is required for installation.

The structural components hold to mil-spec AISI 8620 investment casting, the same steel specification used in USGI parts. The bolt catch and safety selector are cast to that standard; magazine catch and takedown pivot pins are machined from the same material, then heat treated and coated. The magazine release button is steel rather than aluminum, which matters at the interface that takes repeated impact during reloads. Takedown and safety detents are solid hardened stainless steel sourced from KNS Precision Machine. The ambidextrous safety selector accommodates left- and right-handed operation without requiring any additional parts or fitting.

Rounding out the kit is a B5 SOPMOD pistol grip, which provides a more vertical grip angle than standard A2-profile grips and adds a storage compartment in the base. The entire assembly carries a lifetime guarantee from Sons of Liberty Gun Works.
