Description
When a standard carbine lower receiver needs to accept a Picatinny-mounted stock or stabilizer, the Strike Industries AR Picatinny Stock Adapter provides a clean, direct solution. It threads directly into the standard AR rear receiver socket using a 1 3/16″-16 HSS right-hand thread — the same thread specification the receiver was already machined for — so no modification to the lower is required. An anti-loosening detent locks the adapter in place with a positive, tactile feel while simultaneously capturing the rear detent spring, which keeps the rear takedown pin detent contained during the swap and prevents a common point of frustration when changing components on the buffer tube end of a lower.
The integrated 1913 Picatinny rail section runs four slots, giving enough real estate for most folding stocks and stabilizers that use a Pic-compatible mounting interface. A 360-degree free-swivel QD socket is built into the adapter and can be rotated to either side of the receiver before locking in, letting the shooter position a sling attachment point without being forced into a fixed orientation. The anodized black finish is durable and matches standard mil-spec hardware. This is a purpose-built part for shooters who want to run an upper as a self-contained unit or simply need their lower configured for a different mounting system without permanent alteration.
