Description
The Strike Industries LINK Angled HandStop gives AR-platform shooters a dedicated reference point for the support hand, keeping fingers clear of the muzzle end of the handguard without adding the bulk of a full vertical foregrip. The rearward angle is designed for a pull-style hold, where the support hand draws the rifle back into the shoulder rather than pushing forward — a technique that tightens recoil management and makes rapid follow-up shots more consistent.
The textured surfaces on both the front and rear finger areas serve a real mechanical purpose: they maintain purchase under sweaty or gloved conditions without requiring the shooter to actively grip. Strike Industries also incorporated front and rear barricade stops into the body, so the same accessory that manages your hand position in the open can index cleanly against a vertical surface when shooting from cover.
Where this handstop separates itself from simpler designs is the built-in Cable Management System. Pressure pad cables for weapon lights are a common source of slop and interference on modern handguards; the CMS channels route wire alongside the handguard, across to the opposite side, or in 90-degree, U-shape, or Z-shape paths, with additional capacity for storing excess wire. That keeps cable runs controlled and off the handguard surface without requiring separate wire management hardware.
Mounting uses Strike Industries’ patented LINK system, which accepts both M-LOK and KeyMod handguards from a single unit. The body is molded from Strike Industries’ custom-blended SI Polymer Extreme, a high-strength impact-resistant material. Hardware torque should not exceed 20 in/lbs on the LINK screws, and the mounting hardware is sourced separately from Strike Industries — routine checks for fastener tightness are part of normal maintenance. This listing is the Flat Dark Earth variant.
