Description

Sling mounting is one of those details that seems trivial until the moment your sling catches on a grip, a magazine, or a piece of kit at exactly the wrong time. The Strike Industries LINK Angled QD Mount addresses that problem by rotating the QD socket 30 degrees off the flat perpendicular plane most rail-mounted sling points use. That angle means the sling exits the mount in a direction that naturally follows the path of the rifle when it’s slung over the shoulder, reducing the tendency to bind against accessories or the support hand during a firing grip.

The anti-rotation feature built into the mount keeps the QD socket indexed in that angled position rather than allowing it to spin freely, which matters when a twisting sling would otherwise reorient the socket and reintroduce the snag problem the angle was meant to solve. Installation works through Strike Industries’ LINK system, which accepts both M-LOK and KeyMod hardware, so it fits most modern modular handguards without requiring an adapter. The mount is machined from aircraft-grade aluminum, keeping weight low without sacrificing the rigidity needed to hold a sling anchor point under load.

The profile is deliberately compact and snag-free — there are no protruding ears or exposed hardware that would catch on gear during a hasty transition. It ships with the LINK T-nut, an Allen screw, and a blue thread locker packet, so everything needed for installation is included. In matte black, it fits cleanly on standard flat dark earth and black handguards without standing out. Shooters running M-LOK rails will need one slot; those on KeyMod will need three.
