Description

The Strike Industries Strike Rail is a free-float M-LOK handguard built for AR-15 shooters who want a practical, lightweight platform without sacrificing rigidity or mounting versatility. It was developed with agency use in mind, which means the design priorities lean toward reliable function under hard use rather than aesthetics alone.

The top rail runs Picatinny sections at the forward and rear positions only, leaving the center open. That gap trims weight while still giving you a fixed reference point for optics at the rear and a front attachment point where you need it. M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions handle lights, grips, and anything else, and the open geometry improves airflow around the barrel during sustained fire. A built-in anti-rotation feature keeps the handguard indexed squarely to the upper receiver, which matters when you’re torquing down a barrel nut under field conditions rather than a bench.

The 1.57-inch internal diameter is wide enough to clear most suppressors and similar muzzle devices, so you’re not locked into a narrow set of hardware choices if you build out the rifle later. Ambidextrous QD sockets are machined directly into the body at both sides, letting you mount a sling without adding separate hardware or choosing a side at installation time. The barrel nut is aluminum and ships with the handguard. The Flat Dark Earth finish is a hardcoat anodize, which sits in the same color family as many common FDE components without the metallic sheen of some anodized finishes. Color consistency can vary slightly between production batches, as is normal with the anodizing process.
