The Strike Industries Strike Rail is built for AR-15 builders who want a genuinely functional free-float handguard without carrying extra material where it serves no purpose. The design was originally developed to meet the demands of agency partners who needed something dependable, light, and ready to work — not a showpiece. That intent shows in the construction decisions throughout.

Rather than running a continuous Picatinny top rail, the Strike Rail places rail sections only at the forward and rearward positions along the twelve o’clock surface, leaving the center open. That gap reduces weight without sacrificing the mounting positions where a front sight post or rear sight block would actually sit. M-LOK slots at the three, six, and nine o’clock positions handle everything else — lights, grips, pressure pads, and similar accessories — while also opening the handguard body for airflow that helps manage heat during sustained fire.

The 1.57-inch internal diameter is sized to clear the barrel and common suppressor bodies, giving you the option to run a suppressor underneath without the handguard becoming an obstacle. Ambidextrous QD sling attachment points are built into the body so you are not committed to a single sling configuration, and a built-in anti-rotation feature keeps the handguard from shifting once installed. The barrel nut and mounting bolt ship with the handguard, so there are no separate hardware purchases needed to get started. Finish is hardcoat anodized black — Strike Industries notes that the anodizing process can produce slight batch-to-batch variation in shade, which is worth knowing if you are color-matching to existing furniture.
