Description

The SureFire 6PX Pro is a dual-output handheld light built for anyone who needs a dependable, no-compromise tool whether on duty, on a range, or in the field. It descends directly from the 6P, the compact high-intensity flashlight SureFire introduced in 1988, and carries that lineage into a modern LED platform.

The tailcap switch drives the whole interface: a partial press gives momentary-on at the low setting, a full click latches constant-on low, and returning to off then pressing or clicking again steps up to high. That two-stage approach matters in practice because it lets you choose between preserving night vision at 15 lumens or throwing a 600-lumen beam that reaches well beyond conversational distance — without cycling through modes you don’t need. The regulated output holds those levels steady rather than dimming as the batteries drain, which keeps the light predictable under use.

The body is machined from aerospace-grade aluminum and finished to Mil-Spec hard-anodize standards, which means the surface is harder than the base metal and resists scratching and corrosion rather than just covering them. The sculpted profile gives the hand something to grip under pressure. Inside, a polycarbonate micro-textured reflector spreads the beam wider with more usable peripheral light than a tight-spot design would, which suits close-to-medium work. The light is O-ring and gasket sealed to IPX7 waterproof standards.
