Description
The SureFire UE-SR07 is a combined rear cap and remote switch assembly designed for shooters who want full switching authority over their Scout Light WeaponLight without reaching back to the tailcap during a string of fire. The assembly pairs the UE tailcap with the SR07 remote switch, giving you two distinct activation modes from a single cable run: a momentary-on pressure pad for instant illumination while your finger stays on the trigger guard, and a click-on/off pushbutton for sustained light without holding pressure. That separation matters in practice — you can index the pressure pad for instinctive use in the dark and still switch to constant-on when you need hands free.
The SR07 switch housing is overmolded and rated for use with a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail, snapping onto the rail without additional hardware so it stays put under recoil but comes off without tools. The seven-inch cable gives enough length to route the switch forward along a standard rifle handguard, positioning it where your support hand naturally rests. A system disable feature is built in, letting you lock out the light entirely during movement, transport, or storage — eliminating the risk of an inadvertent activation that drains the battery or breaks noise and light discipline. The rear cap itself is machined from aerospace-grade aluminum and finished with a MIL-SPEC Type III hardcoat anodize. This assembly is compatible with most Scout Light WeaponLights but does not fit the Micro Scout Light Pro.
