Description
The SureFire CSP-09 is a remote activation switch designed for shooters who want to keep their trigger hand on the grip while still controlling their WeaponLight. By relocating the activation point to a position on the Picatinny rail, it frees up the dominant hand and lets the support hand handle light activation without repositioning.
Operation is handled through a single switch that covers both momentary-on and constant-on modes. A light press delivers momentary activation, which is useful when you want a brief burst of illumination without committing to a lit profile. Pressing through to a click locks the light on for sustained use. There is no toggle between two separate buttons — the same control surface manages both states, which keeps the manual of arms straightforward under stress.
The snap-on clamp attaches directly to any Picatinny rail section without tools, so it can be repositioned or removed quickly. The housing is polymer, keeping weight and profile low on a rail that often competes for space with other accessories. The switch and plug connection are weatherproof, so rain and field conditions do not affect reliability. The 9-inch cable length is sized to work with standard rifle and carbine configurations, giving enough reach to route the plug to a WeaponLight mounted forward on the handguard while the switch body sits where the support hand naturally lands.
Compatibility covers SureFire WeaponLights equipped with a plug socket — including Scout Light models with a socketed tailcap, X300, and X400 with the XT tailcap assembly, as well as Millennium Universal and Classic Universal lights. If your light runs a different connection standard, verify the tailcap configuration before ordering.
