Description
The SureFire KM2-C is a bezel assembly designed to convert an M600 Scout Light® into a dual-spectrum weapon light capable of both white light and infrared output. It is built for operators who run night-vision devices and need to switch between visible illumination and IR on the fly — rotating the bezel selects between modes without swapping filters or changing the light’s mounting position on the weapon.
The infrared side of the KM2-C puts out 120 mW through SureFire’s proprietary TIR lens, which shapes the beam into a focused center with enough surrounding spill to support situational awareness at medium to longer ranges. That same TIR lens governs the white-light output, giving both spectrums a consistent beam profile rather than requiring the shooter to re-learn ranging cues when switching modes. The IR runtime of 16.75 hours is substantially longer than the white-light runtime of 2.5 hours, which reflects the lower power demand of the IR emitter and makes the KM2-C practical for extended low-light operations.
The housing is machined from aerospace aluminum and finished in a Mil-Spec Hard Anodized coating, with a tempered window protecting the lens. At 1.28 oz with batteries installed, it adds negligible weight to the host light. Two 123A lithium batteries power the unit; they are not included. One important compatibility note: the KM2-C works with M600 Scout Light® bodies but is not designed for M600DF bodies, so confirm your host before ordering.
