Description

The KE2-T is a replacement head designed for shooters who need their Scout Light to reach farther downrange rather than simply illuminate a wider area. Where a flood-biased head spreads light broadly for close-quarters use, SureFire’s turbo reflector geometry does the opposite: it collapses the output into a tightly focused, high-intensity hotspot that pushes usable identification distance well past what a standard bezel delivers. The trade-off is intentional — peripheral spill is reduced, so this configuration suits open terrain and longer engagement distances rather than confined spaces where a wider pattern is an advantage.

The head threads onto non-Dual Fuel M600U and M640U Scout Light bodies, converting an existing platform to Turbo performance without replacing the host. It will not fit Dual Fuel bodies, so confirm your host variant before ordering. Power comes from two CR123A batteries running through a 6-volt circuit; that voltage is what enables the output level the turbo reflector can exploit, and runtime reflects the intensity at which the LED is driven.

The body is machined from aerospace-grade aluminum and finished in Mil-Spec hard anodizing, the same surface treatment SureFire uses across its combat-oriented weapon lights. The tempered window protects the LED assembly from the mechanical stresses of weapon-mounted use — recoil, impacts, and environmental exposure — without introducing optical distortion that would soften the beam. At under two ounces, the head adds negligible weight to the host light. Designed and built in the USA.
