Description

The SureFire M640V Scout Light Pro is built for shooters who need to work across both the visible and infrared spectrums without swapping hardware. That makes it a practical choice for anyone running night-vision equipment who still needs a capable white-light option on the same platform. Rather than requiring a clip-on IR filter, the M640V lets you rotate the bezel to move between white light and IR output on the fly — no tools, no accessories, no delay while the situation develops around you.

The IR output runs at 860 nm, which sits at the edge of what unassisted human eyes can perceive and falls squarely in the sensitivity range of most Gen 2 and Gen 3 image intensifiers. The white-light side of the optic uses a TIR lens to shape the beam into a tighter center with usable spill around it, which gives you enough reach for positively identifying targets at distance without washing out everything in the immediate foreground.

Mounting is handled through SureFire’s Low-Profile Mount, which accepts both MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny and M-LOK rails and allows you to slide the light fore and aft along the rail — useful when you’re sharing real estate with a laser aiming module or pressure switch. The body is machined from aluminum with a Mil-Spec hard-anodized finish and O-ring sealed against the elements. Activation runs through the Z68 tailcap, a shrouded push-button that supports both momentary and constant-on, and is cross-compatible with other SureFire Scout remote switch options if you prefer a pressure pad setup. Two CR123A lithium batteries are included.
