Description

The DS00 is a waterproof switch assembly designed for SureFire Scout Light WeaponLights, and it exists to solve a specific problem: how to activate your weapon light precisely and reliably from more than one position. The assembly includes both an integrated click-on/click-off pushbutton and a remote switch receptacle, and the two operate independently of each other. That independence matters because losing access to one input — whether from grip position, kit configuration, or a malfunction — does not leave you without the other. The integrated switch and the remote input are redundant by design, not as a backup afterthought.

The switch receptacle is compatible with SureFire ST07, SR07, and SR07-D-IT remote tape switches, which are sold separately. This gives you the flexibility to route activation to wherever your support hand naturally lands, rather than adapting your grip to the light. The two-piece housing is O-ring sealed for waterproofing and swivels so the integrated switch can be positioned precisely where you need it in the DS switch housing — a useful detail when mounting geometry puts the default orientation in an awkward spot.

A system disable feature is also included, which allows you to lock out the light entirely when it needs to be inert. The DS00-TN is finished in Tan. It is not compatible with the Micro Scout Light Pro; check your host light before ordering.
