It fits as a drop-in replacement, requiring no gunsmithing and no modification to any existing Glock component — the trigger works alongside all stock Glock parts and springs rather than replacing them.

The meaningful work here is in the coating. Timney applies an NP3 finish — a Teflon-nickel compound — to the trigger bar and sear. Where those two surfaces meet is exactly where factory Glock triggers accumulate friction that blurs the break. The NP3 treatment reduces that friction directly, which is what produces the crisp, defined wall and release that a factory trigger rarely delivers at this pull weight. The result is a three-pound pull that feels lighter than its measurement because the take-up and break are so clearly separated.

The trigger shoe is a flat-faced design in red, which shifts where your finger contacts the trigger relative to the pivot point. That geometry gives you a more consistent finger placement shot to shot, which matters in competition where your grip and trigger press are repeating variables you want to control.
