Description
Timney’s AR PCC trigger is built for pistol-caliber carbine competitors and dedicated range shooters who want a factory-quality trigger pull without fitting work. It drops directly into the lower using the rifle’s existing hammer and trigger pins along with the original safety selector, so installation requires no gunsmithing and no modification to the host firearm.
The trigger is factory-tuned as a single-stage design with no take-up before the break. Eliminating creep means the shooter’s input goes straight to the break rather than through a murky travel zone that has to be mentally filtered out—this matters most when firing at speed or calling precise shots under time pressure. At a 3-pound pull weight, it sits light enough to reward careful technique without being so featherweight that it becomes a liability under stress or in rough conditions.
The curved trigger shoe is a deliberate ergonomic choice. A curved profile places the pad of the finger at a consistent angle through the pull and tends to feel more natural to shooters whose background is in handguns, which makes this particularly well-suited to PCC competition where the transition between platforms is part of the match. The housing pairs aluminum with steel internal components, balancing overall weight reduction with durability in the parts that see the most stress.
The assembly is chambered for 9mm PCC platforms. Note that Timney specifies this trigger is not compatible with the Sig MPX, so verify fitment against your host carbine before ordering. Everything needed for installation ships as a complete assembly.
