Description

The TriggerTech AR-10 Duty is built for shooters who need a trigger that holds up under field conditions rather than range-only use — mil/LE operators, 3-gun competitors, and hunters who work in demanding environments. The Duty line came directly out of feedback from active operators who valued the crisp break of TriggerTech’s performance triggers but wanted a heavier, more deliberate first stage and a more forceful reset for high-stress use.

The two-stage design gives you a longer, heavier take-up before the break, which matters when you’re making fast decisions about whether to fire. That intentional first stage provides a clear mechanical signal before the shot breaks, reducing the chance of an unintended discharge under stress. The second stage uses TriggerTech’s Zero Creep technology, meaning there’s no additional slack or mush before the wall — the break itself is clean. This combination is a deliberate trade-off: you sacrifice the short, light take-up of a competition trigger in exchange for a trigger that works with how a trained shooter thinks in a dynamic environment.

FLTWR technology eliminates the traditional trigger return spring, which reduces internal friction and contributes to the consistent pull weight across the trigger’s service life. The housing is EZAC diecast, and the key internal components are 440C stainless steel with a PVD Black finish — Physical Vapour Deposition, a hard coating applied to resist wear while maintaining a clean appearance. Pull weight is fixed at 3.5 pounds and is not user-adjustable, which is by design for a duty-grade application. The trigger fits AR-10 platforms using standard mil-spec 0.154-inch trigger pins, which are not included.
