Description

The TriggerTech AR-15 Duty Two-Stage is built around a specific operational context: close-quarters work, law enforcement and military use, and high-round-count environments where a trigger needs to perform consistently under stress and in adverse conditions. It is not an adjustable competition trigger — the 5.5-pound pull weight is fixed, which eliminates the possibility of field-induced drift and removes a variable that matters when the trigger has to work the same way every time regardless of conditions.

The two-stage design splits the pull into a deliberate first stage followed by a clean break at the wall, giving the shooter a tactile reference point before committing to the shot. This is useful in situations where a shooter may need to take up slack while still making a final decision. TriggerTech’s Zero Creep technology means the second-stage wall is genuinely crisp rather than the gradual mush common to mil-spec fire control groups. The FLTWR system increases reset force, which produces the more assertive, tactile reset the manufacturer describes — a meaningful difference when running the rifle quickly and confirming reset by feel rather than by conscious thought.

Key components are made from 440C stainless steel and finished in PVD Black — Physical Vapour Deposition, a hard coating applied to give the external components durability alongside their appearance. The housing is EZAC diecast. Installation uses standard 0.154-inch mil-spec trigger pins, which are not included. The trigger is covered by TriggerTech’s lifetime warranty.
