Description

The TriggerTech Duty is built for shooters who need a trigger that holds up under hard use — military and law enforcement operators, hunters working in rough conditions, and long-range precision shooters who cannot afford a malfunction. It fits the Remington Model 700 right-hand action and drops in as a direct replacement.

The Duty uses TriggerTech’s Zero Creep technology, which eliminates the slack travel between trigger contact and break that most mil-spec and factory triggers carry. The result is a consistent, repeatable break that lets you call your shots accurately without having to compensate for a vague or spongy take-up. The pull weight is factory-set at 3.5 lbs and is not user-adjustable — a deliberate choice that keeps the trigger at a known, predictable weight through the full service life without requiring periodic re-setting after field use.

The Duty line is also designed with a heavier reset force than TriggerTech’s target-oriented models. That makes follow-up shots more positive and reduces the chance of a short-stroke under stress. A bolt release is included, which is relevant on the Remington 700 platform where the factory design requires a separate manipulation step.

Key components are machined from 440C stainless steel, and the housing combines EZAC alloy with stainless construction. External components carry a PVD Black finish — Physical Vapour Deposition, a hard coating that bonds to the stainless surface rather than sitting on top of it, which gives it better resistance to chipping and wear than conventional bluing or paint. Overtravel after the break is held under 0.003 inches, keeping the trigger shoe movement to a minimum once the shot breaks.
