Description

The AXON SL is Unity Tactical’s compact, single-button remote switch built for shooters who want direct, tactile control of a weapon-mounted laser without routing a pressure pad or managing a long cable run. It hard-mounts to an M1913 Picatinny rail, which keeps it solidly in place under recoil and eliminates the movement and rattle that can come with clamp-style accessories.

The button face is set at a 45-degree angle, a deliberate geometry choice that places activation force along the natural line of your thumb when your hand is in a firing grip. That matters when you’re wearing heavy gloves, working in low light, or under any kind of stress where fine motor skill degrades — you can find and press the switch reliably without hunting for it. The housing is molded from high-impact polymer, keeping weight low while providing the structural durability the mount needs to stay put.

This particular variant is wired for a Crane-connector laser with a 7-inch lead. The switch uses a momentary-only mechanical design for the laser side, which is intentional: most current laser units are programmed so that a quick double-tap of their native tailcap activates constant-on mode. By leaving that logic in the laser itself rather than building it into the switch, the AXON SL stays compatible with that native behavior without requiring you to reprogram anything. You get momentary activation from the switch and retain the laser’s own constant-on sequence exactly as the manufacturer intended it.
