Description

The Unity Tactical FAST Offset Optic Adapter Plate is built for shooters running an LPVO on the FAST mount system who want a capable close-range option without swapping optics or breaking their primary zero. The concept is straightforward: instead of transitioning to a separate red dot mounted elsewhere on the rifle, you cant the gun roughly 45 degrees and acquire a micro red dot that sits at the same mechanical height as the scope. That shared 2.05-inch centerline matters because the geometry of your cheek weld and point of aim stays consistent between the two optics rather than forcing you to account for a mismatched optical axis under stress.

This particular plate accepts optics built on the Aimpoint ACRO footprint, which also includes the Steiner MPS. Mounting position is not fixed — the plate can be set in a forward cantilever, centered, or rearward cantilever position on the offset base, letting you dial in eye relief and balance based on how your rifle is configured and how you prefer to shoot. The plate also fits the FAST MRDS mount and the LPVO MRDS Top Ring, so it carries across more than one configuration of the FAST ecosystem.

Construction is 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hardcoat anodized finish. That alloy is chosen for its strength-to-weight ratio — it holds up to the repetitive stress of canting a loaded rifle without adding meaningful weight to a position that sits well forward of center. Mounting hardware comes from the optic manufacturer rather than generic fasteners, which keeps thread engagement and torque specs aligned with what Aimpoint or Steiner specifies for their optic. This is the adapter plate only; the offset base and optic are sold separately.
