Description

The ModButton Lite SYNC is built for shooters running a weapon light alongside a crane-type laser, who want both devices on a single activation point without adding bulk to the setup. It pairs a Surefire-compatible cable lead with a crane laser lead, so pressing one button fires the light and the laser simultaneously in whatever output mode each is physically set to. The light operates momentary-only; the laser can be held on constant with a double tap of the same button. That single-button logic keeps target acquisition clean and removes any decision between which cable to squeeze under stress.

The switch body itself is injection-molded polymer, fully potted internally. Potting fills the housing with a hardened compound that locks the electronics in place, eliminates air pockets, and gives the assembly meaningful resistance to impact, moisture, and contamination without relying on gaskets that can fail. Unity Tactical rates it to MIL-STD-810G standards. The mount is an M1913 Picatinny rail grabber, so placement is adjustable along any standard section rather than fixed by a dedicated offset.

Compared to the original ModButton, the Lite variant is smaller and lighter and drops the integrated mount that the full-size version carries — a trade-off that suits shooters who want to keep rail space open and are mounting the switch directly rather than as part of a larger pressure-pad assembly. The 4.5-inch cable length is sized for compact and mid-length scout body configurations where a longer lead would create slack. Compatibility on the Surefire side covers UE, XM, XT, and DS00 tail caps; crane compatibility extends to L3Harris, Steiner Optics, B.E. Meyers, Wilcox Industries, and Holosun laser bodies.
