Description

The SureFire UE-BK is a replacement rear cap assembly designed for Scout Light weapon lights, intended for shooters who want to run a tape switch rather than the standard push-button tail cap. Swapping to this cap moves activation control forward to wherever the tape switch is mounted on the handguard, which can be more natural during a firing grip without breaking hand position to reach the tail of the light.

The cap includes a lock-out feature that mechanically prevents the light from firing during transport, storage, or any situation where an accidental activation would be a problem. That is a meaningful safety margin when a loaded weapon is cased or staged and the light is still mounted. The tape switch itself is not included — this cap provides the interface point for a SureFire tape switch purchased separately.

Construction is aerospace-grade aluminum with a Mil-Spec Type III hard-anodized finish in Black. That anodizing standard produces a hard, wear-resistant surface that holds up to the kind of contact a weapon-mounted light takes during regular handling and field use. Compatibility covers Scout Light weapon lights and certain SureFire flashlights with a 0.75-inch diameter switch body, but it is not compatible with the Micro Scout Light Pro.
