Description

The Unity Tactical ModButton Lite is a pressure switch designed for shooters who run SureFire, Arisaka, or Modlite Scout-body lights and need a low-profile activation solution that does not eat up rail space or add unnecessary weight. The switch uses momentary-only activation, meaning the light fires when you press and cuts when you release — there is no toggle to bump into the wrong state during a string of fire. That is a deliberate design choice for anyone running a high-output light where an accidental constant-on is a liability rather than a convenience.

The housing is injection-molded from high-strength polymer, which keeps the assembly under one ounce and lets the switch absorb impacts without the antenna-like fragility of exposed metal hardware. The Picatinny grabber mount seats directly on an M1913 rail; M-LOK mounting is also possible through a separately sold adapter. Cable channels are routed through the body to keep the lead dressed cleanly against the handguard rather than looping free where it can snag.

The 7-inch cable lead on this variant gives you more reach between the switch body and the tailcap than the 4.5-inch version, which matters when your switch position and your light position are separated by a longer handguard section or an offset mount. The SureFire plug is also compatible with the Unity Tactical FUSION Light Wing interface, so the switch integrates without modification if your light is already riding on that platform. Unity’s patented circuit design allows the switch to pass full power to the connected light — earlier-generation remote switches commonly introduced a 15–20% power reduction at the tailcap, which this design avoids.
