The Unity Tactical ModButton Lite is a momentary-activation remote switch built for shooters running high-output weapon lights on Surefire-pattern bodies who need a clean, low-profile solution without the bulk of an integrated mount. Where legacy pressure switches act as a bottleneck — reducing output by as much as 15–20% — the ModButton Lite’s updated plug design and revised electronics pass the full current draw that modern high-output light heads demand, so the light runs at rated lumens and candela rather than a throttled approximation.

The switch body is injection-molded polymer and fully potted, which seals the internals against moisture and debris without adding meaningful weight. The 7-inch cable length gives enough reach to route cleanly to a handguard-mounted grabber when a light is positioned forward on the rail, reducing cable tension and keeping the run tidy. The M1913 Picatinny rail grabber mounts to either the left or right side of the rail, so the switch position can be matched to the shooter’s grip without compromise.

Compatibility extends to Surefire UE, XM, XT, and DS00 tail caps, as well as Arisaka and Modlite Scout bodies — making this a practical upgrade path for anyone already running Surefire-ecosystem hardware. The package is momentary-only; if constant-on operation is required, Unity Tactical and Modlite both recommend pairing it with a Surefire DS00 tail cap.
